The Bar Council has endorsed a proposal to make Harvey available to members of the Bar, on a subscription basis, via BCL. BCL is working towards a roll out from early October, as part of a comprehensive strategy developed by the AI Steering Committee to make AI tools available to members of the Victorian Bar.

Harvey is a leading AI platform used by many major and mid-size law firms and in-house legal departments and has been built to assist legal professionals with their workflows and productivity. More information about the platform is available here.

A free trial of Harvey is available ahead of a wider roll out in early October. Training on the use of the platform will be provided to participants in the trial program.

Once live, Harvey will be included with BCL’s premium Microsoft 365 offer at an expected bundled price between $7,000 and $9,500 per year. Pricing will be finalised once subscription quantities are confirmed later this month. Inclusions for BCL’s AI solutions are available here.
