Paul joined BCL as CEO and Managing Director in March 2018.
Paul has led large teams across a diverse range of industries ranging from large banks and government utilities to an ASX listed global technology company. He has over thirty years experience in improving the performance of these businesses through significant cultural and structural change combined with a focus on executing strategy.
Paul is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and FINSIA and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors course and the INSEAD AVIRA programme. He has a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from RMIT and an Executive MBA from the University of New South Wales.
John joined BCL in August 2019 as Chief Financial Officer and comes to BCL with over 20 years of experience in the property, funds management and professional services industries.
John has lead property finance teams in both listed and unlisted entities in global organisations in both Australia and the USA. He has extensive experience in running finance functions with a strong focus on systems, process improvement and change management.
John is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and has a Bachelor of Commerce from the Australian National University
Cheryl joined BCL as General Manager in May 2018 and brings extensive experience in Strategic and Operational Leadership with a strong commitment to client and professional services.
Cheryl is an experienced organisational leader across whole of business operations with a focus on all aspects of strategy, transformational change management, process design and improvement through relationship and stakeholder management. Cheryl’s career extends across various senior leadership roles in professional services, financial services, technology, property and legal services driving strategy across multi faceted projects and programmes, change management, locally, nationally and globally.
Cheryl holds qualifications in Business, Post Graduate Business, Master’s degree and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
Daniel has been with BCL since 2015 and has experience in managing IT infrastructure and systems.
Daniel brings with him over 10 years experience working in the commercial property sector and has driven improvements in service delivery, cyber security and the way end users interact using various technologies.
Leading BCL’s internal team and subject matter experts, Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science, a Masters’ Degree in Business Information Technology (MBIT) and a series of industry specific certifications.
Marguerita Gomes joined BCL in April 2022 and brings over 15 years of senior experience across people leadership, client relationship management, business operations, and strategic stakeholder engagement. In this capacity, Marguerita works in close partnership across all areas of the business to align people and client strategies with organisational priorities. She also has oversight of all BCL Managed Floors and the Managed Floor team, ensuring the effective delivery of client services and operational support.
Marguerita has successfully led teams of varying scales across multiple national and international locations, with a demonstrated track record in driving operational excellence, enhancing commercial outcomes, and implementing sustainable business processes and policies across the professional services, technology and commercial distribution sectors.
She holds a Bachelor of Science, a Bachelor of Laws, and a Masters of Business Administration.
Julia joined BCL in January 2017 and brings to BCL over 17 years of marketing, communications and client management experience across the commercial property and property development industries.
Julia’s expertise lies in stakeholder and business services management, strategic brand development and marketing communications. Prior to joining BCL, Julia managed the marketing function of a national property company, delivering successful client retention and lead generation strategies and activities across a portfolio of businesses in over ten locations.
Working across the entire BCL business, Julia has led key projects to drive occupancy for BCL and to improve and diversify services for the Bar. Julia is also responsible for the management of BCL’s wholly owned subsidiary, serviced office business Opus. Julia holds a Bachelor of Tourism Management (Marketing).
