Diversions to secretary and or clerk

The default setting for the phone system is for the call to divert after ringing for 14 seconds to the secretary's phone, if there is one or if not, then to the clerk's phone.

To activate that diversion, dial 30.
To remove that diversion, dial 31

If the secretary's phone does not answer the call, the current default software as at September 2008 does not allow the call then to divert to the clerk's phone. You need to contact the telephone technician (x7933) to make a special arrangement (profile for multi-hops) for this to happen.

Diversions to other numbers

To divert a call to another internal extension:
* 21* extension number #
To remove the extension: Dial 31.

To divert a call to an outside number:
* 22 # 0 outside number # If “35” is used instead of “0” calling number will be sent

Also the above key sequence can be put in so only **2 needs to be dialled (ring 7933 to have this feature set)

To remove the diversion: Dial 32

Do not disturb

To render phone engaged, dial *27 #.
To cancel the diversion, dial # 27 #

Divert to Voicemail


To divert, dial * 21 * 8787 # (8787 is old voicemail, new is 8989)
To remove the diversion: dial 31

To contact Voicemail: Dial 8787 (on new 8989)

Over-ride diversion

Dial *60 * extension # (4 before extension will work also)

Call back

To have a number automatically call you back when busy or unanswered, dial 6 (only internal)
To remove the call back: Dial # 37 #

Message waiting

To remove Message waiting: Dial 34
