Public Liability Insurance - Public Liability Insurance up to $20M (sum insured) is included free of charge to all members of the Bar in BCL Chambers. A copy of the policy can be found under Policies.

Property Insurance - Tenants in BCL Chambers are offered preferential chambers insurance covering the contents of their chambers. This can be extended to cover belongings whilst in transit or on circuit, etc. Please contact David Denson, David Denson Pty Ltd on 9690 2044 for further information. 

Telephone Extensions - Telephone extensions with free calls internally to BCL tenants and to Clerks. Any queries regarding telephones should be directed to BCL’s technician.

Vicbar Network Access - High speed network access is available to BCL tenants at a fee via this efficient "firewall protected" Network.

Accommodation - As BCL provides accommodation to the majority of eminent barristers in Victoria. The retention of BCL chambers by members facilitates mentoring and the exchange of ideas enhancing individual practices. Barristers benefit from the fact that there is no need to make onerous financial commitments, etc. Tenancies are monthly but generally remain long term - many tenants have remained in the same chambers for in excess of 10 years.

Car parking – Car parking is available to tenants allocated on a seniority basis. The spaces are located in the basement of Owen Dixon Chambers East and West, as well as Isaacs Chambers.

Motorcycle/Bicycle Parking – A secured area is located in the basement of Owen Dixon Chambers East. An annual fee is charged for access to this area. More information and an application form can be found here.
